Our Ipswich antenatal course is the perfect place to meet other people going through pregnancy with you in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. Held at Kesgrave Community Centre, our experienced and passionate midwives will help you through your journey and ensure you leave with all the knowledge you need for birth and beyond, plus your very own Bambino Club!

  • The ideal time to complete your Bambino Club is between 28 and 36 weeks pregnant. However, you can attend any time from 24 weeks pregnant.

  • FREE access to the Bambino Club digital hypnobirthing package

  • All attendees receive the Bambino Club booklet - this compliments your Bambino Club course and ensures you have all the key and relevant information, all in one place!

  • A class social will be held the week after the final class, so those all-important local parent friendships and support can continue to grow after the sessions end.

  • Complimentary Bambino Club tote bag and birth preferences form is provided to each attendee on class 1 of your antenatal course.

  • Our antenatal course is for you and your partner or birth partner. You are extremely welcome to come alone or with a friend or relative.


 

Ipswich antenatal courses are held in the Kesgrave Community Centre, a calm and private space, conveniently located for nearby transport links and facilities. The Ipswich Quaker Centre is a comfortable place to create your Bambino Club. Refreshments will be available before classes and during the break!

Meet your teacher

Bambino Club Antenatal Class Ipswich Teacher Cat

Cat began her career as a clinical midwife at Ipswich Hospital in 2015 after training at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital in Bedfordshire. She has specialised in perinatal mental health, low risk midwifery care and plays an active role in being a Professional Midwifery Advocate for her trust. She is also a member of the Birth Reflections listening and debriefing service. She currently works as a community midwife for families with additional and complex needs. She has a level 2 and 3 in counselling skills and studies and is passionate about helping birthing people understand their experience and empower them to maintain their mental health. Before becoming a midwife, Cat was a creative youth worker with the National Youth Theatre and has extensive experience of teaching. She has spoken at conferences and is regularly a guest lecturer at the University of Suffolk. Outside of work, she is a trustee for a charity which supports birth mothers whose children do not live in the their care.
